Green Soil Consortium of the Israel Innovation Authority At the Carasso FoodTech Innovation Canter

It was a pleasure to host the Green Soil Consortium of the Israel Innovation Authority רשות החדשנות – a collaboration of academic and industry partners.
The consortium focuses on developing novel bioremediation technologies for contaminated soils, alongside innovative sensing technologies, and soil contamination monitoring.
The meeting, hosted by Assoc. Prof. Guy Mechrez, highlighted the power of academia-industry collaboration in driving sustainable environmental innovation and translating cutting-edge research into real-world solutions.

We thank Prof. Ester Segal, Dean of the Faculty, for opening the event, and Assoc. Prof. Avi Shpigelman for conducting the tour in the new Carasso FoodTech Innovation Center.

Many thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to the discussion.

Looking forward to our next meetup.
