Description:

Ohmic heating unit for rapid, volumetric heating of electrically conductive foods (Joule heating). Useful for fast pasteurization/sterilization with good temperature uniformity.

Features:

Fast and relatively uniform heating vs. conventional surface heat exchangers; Can be advantageous for products with particulates and to reduce fouling.
